1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp

5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup dry white wine (chicken broth as an alternative)

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Topping:


3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs

1.5 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon salt



Preheat the oven to 430°F.

In a casserole dish, mix the wine and half the melted butter. Bake for 10 minutes to allow the mixture to reduce.

Toss the shrimp with the remaining butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Arrange in the casserole dish.

For the topping, blend panko, Parmesan, salt, and olive oil in a bowl. Evenly sprinkle over the shrimp.

Bake for 12 minutes. For added crispness, broil on high for an additional 1-2 minutes.
