Clove Oil for Massage
Try a pain-relieving massage oil based on cloves. Its anti-inflammatory properties can ease muscle, joint, and rheumatic pains. Mix 10 drops of clove essential oil with 30 cl of carrier oil (like jojoba or sweet almond) and massage onto painful areas thrice daily. Pain relief should occur within 48 hours.
Cloves Against Colds
For winter ailments, consider clove essential oil. Its antiviral and antibacterial properties help prevent flu, colds, and other infections. Dilute 1-2 drops in a teaspoon of olive oil and take it before a meal, or dissolve it on a sugar cube under the tongue. Use 1-3 times daily for up to a week.
For Urinary Tract Infections
To soothe UTIs, opt for a clove infusion, possibly adding a drop of lavender essential oil to enhance effectiveness. This shouldn’t replace medical consultation.
Cloves for Hair
Cloves effectively combat hair loss. Infuse a few cloves in olive oil for two days, then apply to hair.
